- Topic: Writing Research Proposals for Linguistics
In this course, you will improve your skills in researching and writing professional proposals for federal funding. We will review how to identify the goals of individual funders and specific funding solicitations, how to frame project goals in terms of intellectual merit and broader impact, how to write project descriptions that synthesize previous research, data sets, data methods, and dissemination methods, follow funder instructions on preparation of supplementary materials and submission, reviewer protocols and responses to review comments.
