This course provides an introduction to computational linguistics, focusing on key models and algorithms for the automatic analysis and generation of natural language, with an emphasis on real-world applications. By the end of the course, students will understand and apply foundational concepts such as n-gram models, text classification, vector semantics, part-of-speech tagging, syntax parsing, and language modeling, while also developing and implementing algorithms for various text-processing tasks.
