Lecture (LEC)
Prerequisite: L543 or equivalent. Takes up where L543 leaves off, reviewing from the perspective of principles and parameters theory the core modules of grammar introduced in L543 and then reexamining them from the perspective of minimalism. Close reading of articles and training in abstract, and squib writing, as well as research statement development (for LING Qual I) and research paper presentation.
